Moving Theater's programs are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council. Moving Theater’s 2010-2011 New York Performance Season is made possible with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, celebrating 50 years of building strong, creative communities in New York State’s 62 counties.

Moving Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, incorporated in the State of New York in 2003. All contributions to Moving Theater are tax-deductible to the furthest extent of the law.
